When can I apply for naturlisation along with my children?

My husband obtained British citizenship in Nov 09 after 5 years of stay and 1 yr ILR. I could not apply at the same, as my husband, because we we were abroad to see my ill mother. I and my children have now been idenfinite leave holders for 15 months. Please assist me as I want to apply soon.

1. Can I apply on form AN on the basis that my partner is a Britsh citizen, and show my 3 years of residence in U.K and attach marriage cert, husband passport OR Do you I have to make application on the basis of 5 years residence criterion?
2. Do you i need to make application for my children using form MN1 and they both were born in U.K and my husband was on work permit at the time of their births. Please also advise me on the section to use of the British Nationality Act 1981

if I had made application for indefinite leave and naturalisation with my husband we could have saved a lot of money but certain things cannot be controlled in life.
