When Payment Taken?

Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone know when payment is taken from your credit/debit card to pay your visa fees does this indicate that the visa is now being processed?

It confirms that the application has been received, but as payment is handled in a completely different location to where the application is processed, it gives no indication as to how far down the pile it is on the desk of the checking officer.
