I just called the Home Office and they told be FLR(O) will be required for in country FLR for my dependant's.

I have already got my FLR visa stamped on my passport last week. Now I want to apply for my dependants FLR. What they say is apart from my dependant's passport I have to submit my passport as well. I went through the document checklist and no where it is mentioned that.

I was in the impression that only photocopies of my Passport is enough for my dependants FLR visa application. Am I thinking right ?

Chris,

Why did you not submit your dependent's passports when you applied for FLR? You could have applied for their extensions along with yours at no additional costs.

Have a look at this link, including the one on FLR(O). I am not sure though that FLR(0) is required for dependents. In my case my dependents were included in my FLR(IED) application.

Use the following FLR(O) Form to apply for an extension of stay in the United Kingdom if you are applying in any of the following categories:

Postgraduate doctor or dentist
Au Pair
Teacher or language assistant under an approved scheme
Representative of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organisation
Private servant in a diplomatic household
Domestic worker in a private household
Overseas government employee
Minister of religion, missionary or member of a religious order
Member of the ground staff of an overseas-owned airline
Writer, composer or artist
Member of the crew of a ship, aircraft, hovercraft, hydrofoil or train
Other purposes/reasons not covered by other application forms, including prospective student

Thanks Mwazir,

I got it clarified from Home Office I need to go personally to Croydon and get it sorted as thier visa runs by this weekend.

I could not include them in my original appli for 2 reasons and 1 of them was that I didnt had the marriage certificate with me.

Chris.
