Which one? HSMP > Tier 1 extension OR ILR

Hi all

I am getting somewhat confused about the Judicial Review win last year by the HSMP Forum (http://www.hsmpforumltd.com/index.html)

This is my situation:

Applied & granted HSMP (1 year) : 03 April 2005
Applied for HSMP extension (3 years) : 04 April 2006
Granted HSMP Ext for 3 years (expires 4th April 2009)

So having nearly completed 4 years on the HSMP, can I apply for ILR in March/April 09, or do I apply for the HSMP > Tier 1 extension?

Can someone please point me in the right direction as to what I should do, and what form to submit.

To qualify for ILR you will need to complete 5 years of valid stay in UK.

The JR that the HSMP forum won earlier was related to discontinuing the old HSMP rules for old entrants on that programme, and not for ILR 4-5 change.

You can apply for ILR 28 days before completion of your 5 years stay.
