Which Visitor Visa to apply ? Confused !!

Hi,

I am planning to bring my mom here on a visitor visa.
I am very confused on which Visa I should apply.

I stay in a shared accomodation, because of which I cannot provide any rental agreement stating her accomodation and I don't have any utility or council bills.

She will sponsor herself. She is not dependant on me.

Kindly let me know which Visa is right for her :-

* General Visitor Visa (VAF 1A)
* Family Visitor Visa ( VAF 1B)

If its Family Visitor; what are all the documents that I should give and what are all the documents she should give.

Since I am not sponsoring her and I live in shared accomodation; I am very much confused.

You are confusing many things.First the right application would be Family visitor(as yours mother) and you as sponsor.Weather she is not totally dependent on you is other issue.

To my humble advise she would risk her application if she applied for general visitor visa.

So to me right application is Family Visitor Visa.
