Wife applying for UK visa after husband got the decision?

Hello everyone, I'm new here so apologies if I posted in wrong area. I've applied for a UK standard visitor(priority) visa this week to visit my daughter who has ILR in the UK. I might get the decision in the next few days, but now my daughter and grandson are requesting to bring my wife to uk as well. She wants her mum(my wife) to join me in the UK trip. Can I apply for my wife's standard visitor visa(priority) now? In my application I didn't mention she might be traveling with me, will this be counted as deception? We have other daughter and son in india who is in school so we can show home ties but I don't want to get in trouble. Please help me if anyone has experience?

Hello, Vinny, couple of reasons actually this was our first visa ever no previous travel history so we weren't confident enough that we were going to get a visa and since my wife is a housewife she didn't have any financial documents of her own, and expired passport as well, so based on the probabilities we decided to apply for only my visit to the UK so as to not get a rejection on both passport and waste money as well.

update: today morning I received my passport with my visa stamped for 6 months.

now stuck on whether to delay the trip get her passport sorted and apply for her visa or not?
