Wife claiming Housing Benefit BUT

Hi,

I have a query. I'm on a Spouse Visa and currently a full-time student and my wife works part-time and she is in reciept of Housing Benefit. Can this have any negative impact on my ILR application in the future?

The claim is under her name, Im just listed as the partner. I have heard some say this has no effect on my immigration status but some say it may. Im confused, can someone shed light because Immigration Law can really leave one perplexed.
