Wife Visa accepted just one question (PAK)

Post by Balal786 » Sun Feb 13, 2011 2:08 pm

Asalamualaikum brothers & sisters

Hello every one
i have had much help from this forum but cannot find the answer to what i am looking for?

My wife has had her spouse visa granted on the 4th of February 2011 (shukar Alhamdulillah)

it does not state anywhere, by when she has to have entered the UK?

Is it still within 28 days of issue or has it changed to 3 months, i want to fly over and bring her back but we are not sure how much time we have.

Any help would be appreciated

JazakALLAH

No it doesnt but here is the reason why it is advisable to come within this period

It is just that if one has been issued a 27 month spouse / settlement visa but does not travel to / enter UK within 3 months of visa issuance, he/she may need to apply for an extension before becoming eligible for settlement. Hence, it is advisable that one travels within 3 months to avoid unnecessary costs and hassle of applying for an extension.
