Wife visa status after my PR???

Post by gd_chandrasekar » Sat Jun 19, 2010 6:34 pm

Hi

I am eligible for PR in 1 month via WP and Tier 1 route. Currently my wife is on on Tier1 dependent visa which is valid till Jan 2013; less than 1 years in UK now.

oes my wife need to apply for FLR after my PR or can she have it till it expires, anyways she will elible for PR by that time.

Pls anyone can share their exp or views?

Thanks

When you apply ILR your wife can apply with you as dependent and she needs to pass life in the uk test if you want to apply together it doesn't matter if she is in uk 1 year

I think the rules are pretty clearer for Tier 1 Dependent, the dependant has to be in UK for 2 year.

For Work permit dependent or HSMP Jr dependents does not require this rule.
