wife's visa

Post by devmanda1ia » Wed Sep 19, 2007 11:04 pm

Hi,

I am on work permit visa in the UK and I am planning to put up my wife's file for visa. My questions are:

1. Does she need to have an IELTS certificate to come to the UK on dependant visa?
2. She doesn't have any work experience back home as she is a part of joint family. Does she need to have any sort of work experience?
3. She has done MA. However the final degree won't be received until Feb next year and I plan to put up her file in November this year. Will her yearly marksheets and a letter from college do?

Please help.

Have you read the guidance notes? None of this is relevant, only your employment and finances and the accommodation.

Thanks Victoria.

I am just trying to make sure nothing is missed out.

Also, from the relavant letters I need to submit I have some questions:

My employment:

I am submitting my original work permit
My salary slip

Do I need a letter from my employer saying my employment will continue with them on the same title?

My finance:

I am putting my bank statements for last 6 months. The closing balance on 1st two months were around 1000 pounds and letter on I have transferred my saving from saving accounts and last four months statements are around 3500 pounds. Is that okay and sufficient?

My accomodation:

I am submitting a letter from my land lord.

Do I need to submit photos of the property and a property inspection report.
