Wife visa (Urgent)

Dear All,

I got my HSMP approval. Thanks for ur inputs. Now I have some issues. Please give me your suggestions.

--> I and my wife (Both are PGs and working in IT) are applied for HSMP. I cliamed 10 points in partner achievement. But HSMP approval letter doesn't show how many points I got.

--> Now my wife is carrying (3 months) and I am planning to leave to UK in 3 months time. I would like to take her after my settlement (Job).

Now my queries are:

1) How can I know how many marks I was scored in HSMP?

2) Is it compulsary that I should apply for my Wife EC with in 3months from HSMP approval? Can I apply her EC later?

3) Can I take my wife to UK after 1 year (after her delivery)?

4)If my wife got delivered in my home country, what about Kid? Can I apply EC for him after a year?

5) Can I expect HIS for my wife once I get the job in UK? If so what sort of benifits will I get?

Congratulations on your approval. when did you send your application and when did you recieve approval?

1) You got at least 65 points and thats all you really need to know. it wont make a difference if you got 70, 75 etc. even if you claimed spouses points and didnt get them, you wont need that for EC
2) No it is not compulsory, you can do it later once you settle or even next year, however it might be better to do it together with your application, (see posts in the HSMP forum)

I send my application on 07th June, 2004 and got approval in 05th Jan 2005.

My few more queries are:

1. If my HSMP is approved based on my partner points and if she is not willing to join me within one year, is there any issue while extending the visa (FLR) for 3 years? Because my partner who has supported for HSMP approval is not there to support the visa extension. Indirectly both are not contributing in the finance.

2. HIS means health insurance scheme. I would like to know what sort of health insurance support I can expect from government incase If I take my wife before delivery.

Please give me reply on this.

HSMP extension will only be based on YOUR own economic activity. you wont have to show anything in relation to your spouse. it doesnt matter whether they travel with you or not nor does it matter if they are working or not working, once you get the points at the initial stage then thats it.
