Will cool off perioed be affected by business visa

Hi
My long term visa got expired on october 2013 and i can reaplly only this october 2014 for ict long term visa(12 month cooling )
Now can i apply for business visa and travel to uk for 2 months
Then can i come back and apply for long term visa on oct 2014
or will the bus visa application and travel will affect my cooloff?

Yes, you could apply for business visa and the travel won't affect cooling-off period. The cooling-off period applies only if you're applying for any of the Tier-2 category visas and the business visa is not part of tier-2 visa.

once i am back in india , i can apply for ict exact 1 year after my previous ict got expired?
