Will My Employer Be Contacted During Application Process?

Post by prgrrl30 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 5:38 pm

Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

I'm an American living in New York with my UK born husband. We've been together for 3.5 year--he's been here since 2006 and we were married in 2009.

I'm in the midst of filing my UK settlement visa online, but I need to know if my employer will be contacted during the application process. Contact details are required, but I don't plan to give notice until April.

Can anyone tell me whether their employer was contacted by the border office during the application process?

Thanks!

Very rarely...This happens in very little cases where home office doubt that applicant is lying...Otherwise no
