Will new immigration rules effect already Tier1 (G) holders

Dear All,

I am looking for a comment from someone expert on the new immigration policies.
I am already on Tier 1 (General) and would be applying for ILR in Oct, 2012.

I was just wondering, are the new rules which have been announced today and will be in effect from April, 2011 going to effect settlement route?
