I wish, some1 d answer my question

Post by alaturka » Mon Nov 07, 2011 11:05 am

Hi to all. i ve to admit that this forum is very useful for the people who applied for any UK visa.

I have applied 10 years long term visa on 28th/Sep/11.
Received and payment taken from HO at: 30th/Sep/11.
Today is 7th of Nov. and nothing has been returned yet. im very impatient because, i ve received an emergency phone call "to come back" from my country 2 days ago... my dad is in intensive care unit at the hospital and it really looks serious.
I ve spoken to my lawyer that, what we can do while my application at HO?. and he said he is going to look for it and come back to me soon.
Before i applied for 10 years indefinite to remain, i had a business visa by expiring on 24th/Nov/11.

I kindly ask you guys to give me some advice about my query. i ve just stuck here, and dont know what to do.

If the business visa you refer to is a "visitor" visa, then your application is likely to be refused.

UKBA may not entertain a request for expediting a decision on your application unless you can provide them tangible evidence of compassionate & compelling circumstances requiring you to travel abroad. The other alternative is to withdraw the application. Either way, it will be some time (days / weeks) before you can expect to receive your passport back.
