Witness Statement format

Post by thunderb0lt » Tue May 14, 2013 10:23 pm

Dear all

What is the best format of a witness statement for tribunal hearing. Would a letter addressed to the judge be sufficient or something along the lines of the format of this witness statement in this post here:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=39201

I had a look at the link here but unfortunately the sample link is errorneous.

http://www.renaissancechambersdirect.co ... statement/

Thanks

edit: to clarify, the legal rep will be putting together the actual witness statement with documents etc but just wondering whether a letter from the appellant needs to be in the form of an actual witness statement or could it be a simple letter. The letter will be addresses the issue of subsisting relationship and contact

Your solicitor should know how to draft letters and create case files, if not, there is something worrying.
