If you make an application before your conditions as a student expire, you continue to have leave to enter/remain as a student until a decision is made.
If you go and fill a full-time permanent vacancy, you could be in breach of your conditions.
Arguably you should still be bound by the "20 hours per week in term-time" rule, and only work more than 20hours during the academic holidays of the institution where you have been studying. You have been fortunate in concluding your studies a full 4 months before your leave expires. Sometimes people are given a couple of months extra at the end of their course to take a holiday, not to work, and there's nothing specific that I know of in the rules which exempts you from the normal terms applying to students.
However, the Operational Enforcement Manual does preface its remarks about serving papers for a Section 10 offence of Working in Breach thus:
"The breach must be of sufficient gravity to warrant such action."
Up to you
