Work Experience Verification

I have read in this forum a case where application is turned down because of hsmp team's inability to verify work experience through their high commission in the applicants country. Where applicant has earlier applied for a visiting visa to the UK and granted, can such visa reference No be quoted in the cover letter of hsmp application given the fact that d embassy already has details of employment history during the visiting visa application.

I want to believe this will facilitates the embassy's confirmation to the hsmp team{Because of heavy workload handled by the embassies} should they send for confirmation of this experience provided such reference No will be quoted by the hsmp caseworker. Or, could it be unnecessary to include such reference No or visitor visa detail so as not to appear that they are been prompted to verify.
