Work in other country when on Tier 2 employer sponsored visa

Dear All,

Situation : I've been asked my current employer if I would be interested to work in other country?
My employer has sponsored my Tier 2 UK visa.

Require Clarity on : Is there any way I can take this offer and still manage to fulfil requirements to get
Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK visa? i.e. work from other country most part of
the year, but visit UK once or twice a year for few weeks to fulfil requirements.

Out of country absences for work reasons is no longer a valid reason for absence under ILR requirements.

Take my two cents - do not go for it if you ever want to take ILR.
Once you are outside the firm might keep extending you due to business requirements and you might lose out on the residency requirements.
