work permit approval date different from joining date

please any one can advice me what i have to do.
actually i came on workpermit at 2006.in 2007 i change my job and applied for approval again.before i got approval i joined the company.now i am going to apply for ilr.when they give me a employment letter ,they write the starting date which is 2 months earlier than my work permit date.
my 2nd work permit starts june and my employment letter says april.
is this will be a problum for my ilr.or i have to ask the employer to put the same date in workpermit.please any one can tell me about this

hi,

As far as I know, it is illegal to work for a employer before getting a workpermit. I would recommend getting another letter or even consulting a immigration expert if possible.
