Work permit Child over 18

My husband is on a 4 year work permit and due to changes in immigrations needs to have it extended in Sept.

My daughter turned 18 in May therefore does not qualify as a child dependent although she entered with us 4 years ago.

Would she qualify as a dependent on his extension work permit?

I have phoned Home office and they said she might end up getting a student visa which means she would sturggle to get ILR

Submit an application form FLR(O) in her name along with your husbands own FLR (O) to include you and any children under 18 as dependents i.e. one package but 2 forms so you need to submit 2 fees. Include a letter detailing that you entered the UK as a family when your daughter was under 18. It would be useful to state that you intended to apply for ILR after 4 years on WP as per the immigration rules but are now applying for an extension given the recent changes in ILR timeline.

Further state she is still your dependent and that you provide maintenance and accomodation. Include relevant evidence such as college letters and other documentation showing you reside at the same property. They will likely consider her situation exceptionally outside the rules given she has just turned 18 and grant her FLR in line with your spouse/you.

For the advice, I will do this.

Just very worried she won't be able to stay, expecially as they are getting stickier.
