Work Permit ILR- Wages paid into bank accounts?!

Hi guys,

I've just had a conversation with an adviser at the Law Direct Associates... I have already checked that they are regulated by the OISC... what they told me was that, if I am a work permit holder and that I want to get indefinite leave to remain by premium service, my employer HAS to pay my wages into my bank account!

I am currently being paid by cash, after deductions and tax and it already meets the SOC on tier 2... but this have to be paid by bank transfer thing is weird... has anyone gone through something similar... I cannot find anything like it being mentioned on the home office website.

You have been given that advice on the basis of the following statement in the SET(O) form:

... So does that mean I don't get indefinite if I was paid cash for most of thte last three months and only now I have asked boss to pay me by bank?

No, it means if you are paid by cash your case is not straight forward and therefore not suitable for the premium service. If you do not get the evidence needed, post it instead.
