Work status at the time of ILR

Post by InUkOnHsmp » Mon Jan 30, 2012 9:05 am

Hi Forum,

Need a quick word of advice on whether I need to be working when I apply for ILR.

My situation is that I am on a permanent job, and am looking for a contract opportunity. Now this means, that if I do start contracting, I might and might not have a job when I apply for ILR at the end of this year.

Any clues if not being employed at the time of ILR application will have any effect on the application?

Regards

It won’t cause any issues. If you are in PBS, you should have earned enough in last 12 out of 15 months.
