work while in the process of PSW application

Hi, recently received a call from a recruiter. they liked my profile but they want a proof that i am eligible to work while in the process of PSW application. I have sent my Biometrics letter as a proof. Does anybody have an idea about work regulations while in process of application. any document which shows that applicant can work??

passport needed for new job with valid visa as proof, in doubt as your recruiter
