Hi All


I'am on Tier- 1 (general visa), planning to to back to india for about 6 months. The comapny I work with are happy to let me work from india for about that duration if there are no legal issues.

So, my question here is, Is it legally allowed?

Appreciate any responses.

I don't see any reason why it should not be legal, as long as you are paying your taxes whether be it india or in the uk. One other thing you need to be aware of is your eligibility for your ILR, you are allowed to be outside the country for upto 180 days in any given year during your qualifying 5 year period.

So if you are out beyond the 180 days, then your ILR clock gets reset.
