Working Holiday Visa

Post by enquire_123 » Wed Nov 10, 2004 12:19 am

Hi,

As I understand, working holiday visa (UK) is issued to an individual for a period of two years under various conditions. My question is if one has taken a Working Holiday Visa as a national of a Commonwealth Country and after that subsequently got the citizenship of another Commonwealth Country, can the individual apply for a new Working Holiday Visa..?

Thanks

No - an individual is only entitled to 1 working holiday visa in their lifetime as current immigration policy stands. A review of the WHV scheme as part of the government's long term immigration policy which had considered 2 visas for an individual was scrapped on fears that it may be abused.
