Working rights during PSW application being processed

Hi,
This is a query on behalf of my good friend.

She has applied for the psw and is due for a biometric tomorrow.
But her employer says that she cannot work till her application is decided.

I am sure that she can work full time but it would be helpful if you could share the ukba link which confirms so she can show them the same.

What kind of employment does she have? I'm going to assume it's not a permanent one, since a student visa only allows you to work temporary (fixed term contract) type of jobs. Please note that working full time and having a permanent position are different things entirely (people tend to think they are the same). She can work full time with this kind of visa, however she cannot take a permanent position.

As long as her employment terms have not changed from one that is allowed under the tier 4 (student) visa, she can continue to work until she gets the PSW decision.

This can easily be verified by doing a search on a search engine. The link below is from the website of a University, so it cannot be used as proof. I am sure someone else can bring up a direct link from the UKBA
