Working while waiting for appeal decision - Need legal proof

Post by homerlondon » Tue Nov 01, 2011 10:16 am

Hi,

I looked around the forum and there are a few topics about this.

Looks like if you are waiting for a decision on your appeal after your application was rejected, you keep your existing rights to work until the decision is made. However I couldn't find any link to the law where is states the above situation.

My VISA ended on 04/2009 and I won the appeal on 09/2009 hence the new VISA started from 09/2009. There is a 5 months gap in between.

I need to prove to my consulite that I had the legal rights to work between 04/2009 and 09/2009.

Can you please point me to the UKBA page where this right is stated? I've been looking for it for days but no luck.

Regards,
Homer
