Worng post code in the life in the UK test certificate

Post by neilroy » Thu Sep 07, 2006 9:15 am

Hello,
The continue saga of my freind continues. He just passed his life in the UK test yesterday and although they ask him to check all his details he was bit tensed and did not notice one of the digit in the post code is wrong instead of 6 it is 5. He has got his NCS booked next monday and early date to resite the exam he is getting end of the month. Shall he wait or can he continue with his application?

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as his name and other personal details are correct it should be fine. If he's really worried about it he can just go back to the testing centre and ask them to change his details on the form. They will do it, he's paid good money to write that test.

I don't understand, why is he going to resit the exam?
In a few years time we'll look back on immigration control like we look back on American prohibition in the thirties - futile and counter-productive.
