Wrong biometrics date

I applied for student visa extension on March 28, 2009 under the old student visa rules. I had my biometrics at Cryodon on May 19th, 2009. I still haven't heard a reply. So I contacted Home Ofiice last week.

They said it hasn't been 14 weeks since my biometrics as they were taken on June 8th. On trying to convince the guy that I gave my biometrics on May 19, he transferred me to general enquiries department. The lady there also said that all their databases show 8th June and refused to believe me. She asked me to contact Liverpool ofice where they make appointments and confirm from there.

So I call the Liverpool office and they confirm that my biometrics were taken on May 19th. They said they can't provide a confirmation letter but advised me contact the Home Office again and ask them to confirm with the Liverpool office.

I called the home office again and the guy there said they can't do anything and I should contact the Sheffield Office. Again, the same story at the Sheffield Office. Not to mention long holds during all calls.

I want to know if that is something which I should be worried about or should I just consider it an admin error. I was just thinking that is it also possible that people's biometrics are mixed up. Please advise me what should I do as I am sick of calling them again and again.
