Wrong Job Code in COS which has not been used

Dear all,

My employer has recently achieved the Sponsorship License with 1 unrestricted allocation of COS, which is for me. However when they issued the COS, the job code was in NQF Level 4 whilst my circumstance can only be applied for the NQF Level 6 (switching from PSW to Tier 2 General). The mistake has been recognized before I send out my application, which mean the COS has not been used.

I cannot find the option to withdraw the assigned COS in the SMS. Please advice me what option I should have:

1/ Request for renewal of COS allocation?

Will this new COS replace the old COS and employer can assign again with new job code and wage?

2/ Request for COS allocation increase?

I dont think this is appropriate as the company only need to sponsor me

My visa expires in Mid July and I only have 2 months left. Please advice.
