Wrong SOC code- Please Guide

Hi,

My employer sponsored me as QA Manager with 25000 as salary in August 2012. I got 3 years work permit for the same. However, the SOC code on CoS is 1136 Information technology and telecommunications directors which has 32,300 as salary which should have been 1141 QA Managers. Now I have to apply for extension and My employer wants to issue me the COS 2462 Quality assurance and regulatory professionals. Do I need to mention the same on forwarding letter from my employer to the Home Office. Since I was PSW no RLMT was done. What are the possibilities that I will get visa extension.[/b]
