I came in Jan 2004 as a student.i had a valid student visa till 30 june 2008.In 2008 MY IGS Visa was rejected because of Professional Postgraduate Diploma on 28 June 2008 same day application but No appeal right was given as i had valid visa till 30 june 2008.But i received my documents on 07th July 2008 from my solicitor by that time my visa was already expired.So on 09 july 2008 i applied for administrative review of my IGS Application and I stated to home office that it was misspelled on one of the letter but it was actually postgraduate Level 7 Diploma which was turned down earlier on.In the mean time on 17 July 2008 i applied for Student visa.Which was granted on 15 Aug 2008 for one year.Later on after 3 weeks of my student visa i received the letter from home office that home office has turned their decision and Home office is willing to grant me the IGS visa if i still want to.I sent my passport and they cancel my student visa and granted IGS visa instead on 5 OCT 2008.
Question:Do you think my long residency has been broken and would it effect my application.As even i made out of time student application on 17th July 2008.(17 Days out of time but granted visa later .
Please give your opinion on that.Thanks
