My husband applied for a family visitors visa at the British High Commission in Jamaica. He had an interview 2.5 weeks ago. On Thursday he received am email with the subject line saying:
"Your UK visa has been issued - Please do not respond to this e-mail (Ref: 962545)"
In the body of the email it states:
"Packages normally ship within two working days of receipt of this email and may be tracked on your preferred mail providers website some time afterwards.
If you supplied a return shipping waybill (separately) after sending in your application, shipping delays may occur. We aim to ship all packages within 5 working days of this email notification. Please do not contact UKVI New York for shipping updates

Has anyone received an email like this? Does this mean that he has been granted the visa?
When he went for his interview, he decided to pay the fee to have his documents returned to him via courier. The email did not provide any information about tracking the package. We are really concerned that his documents have gone astray and may go astray. He wasnt thinking properly when he chose to use the courier service. Now we are in panic mode, because if he has been granted the visa, he should be travelling here to the UK on March 25th... A weeks time!
Any advice and sharing of peoples experiences would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
