We arrived in Spain after getting a visitors visa,we then proceeded to send my papers in. We have so far managed to get the NIE number and the pardon, now we have to wait for the marriage certificate to be certified
so we can apply for residence
That was just a brief history.
The situation here is very difficult as neither I nor my wife has been able to find work,we have been here now for 4 months and have been paying rent, My wife sometimes gets work on the internet as a writer,will this qualify us for claiming our treaty rights.Work here in spain is very scarce.

Your help or input will be greatly appreciated as it has taken us a long way thus far

Do either of you speak Spanish? And which part of Spain are you currently residing? You can always take a 4 week TEFL course and become a teacher....

We are currently in Oliva that is right at the boarder between Alicante and Valencia. Just luck we spoke to unscrupulous estate agent who assured us that the property he had got for us was 10 minutes out of town, only to discover we are right in the campo,and quickly running out of money without any work.
How much will a TEFL cost and are garuanteed of getting work.
