I haven't bothered updating Timeline for
this approval because the guy just created a whole thread for one post.
But it shows they have started process after Christmas/New Year's holidays. Good luck to all waiting.

That one is from before the holidays, though! Still nothing here.

Likewise.
No letter yet, can't believe it's been almost 3 months since i applied on 10/10/14. I thought it would be quick as most of October applicants were getting approval so soon.
We all can hope for the best.

Is there anyone who emailed HO for an update on their application if yes than please quote the official language to ask for an update. And do HO bother to tel u an actuall update or stage of the application or it will be just a standard reply "under consideration".

Ok I've had enough stalking this forum, time for me to register and post.
Eligibility criteria: indefinite leave to remain (5 yr WP + 1yr ILR)
Language criteria met (UK degree plus life test in UK)
Method of application: NCS
Council name if NCS used: Islington
Date of application: 25/10/2014
Payment method : Credit Card
Date of receipt by UKBA: 28/10/2014
Date of debit or clearance of fees: sometime in nov
Date of aknowlegment: 20/11/2014
Date approval received: Waiting
Date of ceremony:Waiting
Now I'm starting to think it's going to be refused! How long does it generally take before refusals are sent?!

It seems lots of October applicants havent heard anything. I applied on 17th of October on a 5year + ILR with my wife, same status. Our daughter born here was naturalized last year. I thought this and my stable (permanent) job status would help to speed the process up. But no luck so far. I have called the HO few times and have heard "the under consideration" reply each time. I dont get it why some in our situation would get in a month while we havent heard back in three months?!
would be great if other October applicants post their status to see how many are on the waiting list
fingers crossed and all the best to everyone

What nationality are you? Seems like the Asians and those from Middle East are under the radar

Can you please explain how you reached that conclusion?? ..... looking at the spreadsheet there are quite a few Asians who have already got their approvals.

I find it extremely disturbing that some applications do not even take a month or two to process, while others are kept waiting! If the application was free I could understand people having slightly more patience, however I feel that the Home Office are messing with our emotions here. I am extremely upset and worried that they will not meet their 6 month deadline after going through other months. I have a holiday booked for the end of April and i am panicking!

I feel your pain. I waited for ILR for 2 years and have just resolved myself to the fact that it's just my luck that I'll always be kept waiting. I've called them twice and both times they've told me my application is still 'under consideration' and I shouldn't call them until after 6 months. It's just very disheartening since I haven't seen any approvals for October from 2015 either.

It honestly does not depend on one person/factor alone. My friend received ILR after 6 months but citizenship in one-and-half weeks (record so far among people I know). Good luck
