DLR to FLR

Post by #londoner » Thu Oct 16, 2014 12:01 pm

hi everyone,

I have been to UK since 2004 as a asylum seeker, got refuse then i married at 2011 to my girlfriend whom i knew since 2007.
My wife is british and we married at 2011 and i have got my DLR at 06/02/12 for 3 years.
my DLR period is ending at 05/02/15.
I like to know what is next? FLR or DLR (Extention) ? and when is the best time to apply for it?

I hope people who have been in similar situation or experts in immigration law will help me out through this.

Many thanks in advance for your kind advices.

regards

You will need to extend it, and you will have another 3 years.

Many thanks Obie for your advices.
can i apply before 28 days of expiry?
if i do would that be any mistake? or they simply wouldn't count it?

and if you don't mind, may i know your occupation?

Hi everyone.
i hope you all had a nice xmas and enjoying your new year eve.

i am about to submit my extention for DLR but i am having confusion between FLR (O) and FLR(M) form.
i have read both of the form, and different people advice me different about the forms.

little bit history background about myself.

i am living in UK since 2005, applied for asylum but didn't succeed. I met my wife at 2007 and we both got married at 2011. home office issued me DLR visa for 3 years. my visa is expiring next year 05/02/2015.
now i need to know what is the rite form for me to fill for further extension before i apply for ILR.

look forward to hear from all good people who are here to help and wish you a happy new year in advance.

your sincerely
londoner :)
