Applying for first british passport abroad

Is it possible to apply for my first British passport abroad.
I have my ceremony in 2 weeks and I plan to go abroad for 3 months at the end of this month.

Yes you can but it takes a lot longer than applying from the UK, mostly in excess of 10 weeks as they are processed in the UK.

It might be easier if you apply for your passport when you return.
