However you are required to demonstrate that your have resided in the UK in accordance with the regulation for a period of 5 years.

This means you will be required to demonstrate that your wife was a qualified person during marriage and after marriage you are employed or self employed.

Hello IvIalik, I think there are members on this forum who received their PR after retain rights after divorce. Have you made your application already?[/quo]

Good morning everyone,

I was just wondering if there are any forum members or readers out there waiting for their PR over 6 months?

I'm still waiting for my email confirmation and biometrics after submitting on July 28! Tried to contact them and the biometrics folk but I can't even get a case number or them to even look. If anyone has any contact numbers or suggestions be great.

Hi Forza I'm non EU citizen, spouse is EU.
Do you think that would that make a difference re receiving biometric papers and confirmations, even though they took my payment ?

Thanks for sharing this with us liquidweb.
I guess those 13,045 applications include only EU citizens.

Hello zeb77, yes that 'unfortunately' makes a difference. Some of the EU citizens who shared their timelines with us even did not receive their COA or email confirmations but their PRs directly. EU citizens' applications are processed much faster, in some cases even less than a month, than non-EU ones.

Hi liquidweb,

Did you apply before or after biometrics was introduced on 6 of April? So looks like they will send your documents by 24 of September then. Please let me know what date you have applied.
Thank you and I'm sure you'll have a positive reply

Hi sidcostas, I applied after biometrics in May. I received my COA back in June. But since then there has been no movement. I observe that some EEA national receives PR within 2-3 weeks. People applying in August got it in September. However, I am non EEA. Should have applied along with my EEA wife but her BC application was in the process. She received BC already while I am still waiting :D
