Average waiting time for Spouse visa from pakistan

Hi,

This is my first post Apologies in advance if I have missed any rule to post a query.

I am a UK resident with ILR, I submitted documents to UK Sheffield office for my wife dependent visa.

Application detail:

Biometrics: 30-Sep-2015
UKVI email: 02 Oct-2015

A standard email about application received and visa processing time. since then I have not heard anything.

I am aware of the application processing time which is 12 weeks, yet I would like to ask if someone can, please comment as to how long a visa application can take.

Please note that we do not work for HO so any guess on how long it will take is just a guess.
