Post by silentwhisper » Fri Dec 09, 2016 2:23 pm

Hi All,

Maybe this question has been asked before but can't find the appropriate answer.

Only question is how long ''wife of BC can stay out of UK for each year in whole of 5 years route''?

is it 90 days each year.

or

180 days each year.

hope to get reply soon.

thanks in advance

There is no absence limit but any absences should be limited and for good reason. She should not be living in another country for example and only visiting the UK.

ILR requires residence but only absences of 6 months or more must be declared for ILR.

British citizenship (if that is the aim) requires residency and has limits on absence.
