Documents - Cohabitation ILR

Post by Annbenjamin9 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 1:07 pm

My husband & I are applying for ILR soon. I don't work in the UK & just got our bank accounts in joint names.
For cohabitation documents to show my address proof is the same as my husband, I have
1) Joint Tenancy Agreement dated November 2012
2) National Insurance Number Allocation letter dated January 2013
3) Letter from NHS dated Feb 2013
4) We have just started a joint bank account in December 2013
5) Passport with UK address January 2014
6) Individual Bank Account (different bank) from Jan 2014

I am due to apply for ILR with my husband in November.

My concern is that I don't have any documents in my name from March 2013 to November 2013. Will that be a problem if proof of cohabitation is not continuous for 2 years?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

On what basis your husband is applying for ILR . For PBS dependents if the VISA was issued under rule which is in place after 9 july 2012 then one needs to have 5 years of continuos leave befoe he/she is eligible for ILR.

He has been in the UK for a long time and I came to the UK in late 2011.

My question is - If my documents with proof of address is not for the continuous period but in certain times like
Nov 2012
Dec 2012
Feb 2013
Dec 2013
Jan 2014 and so on, will that be a problem? Will it be a problem that I don't have address proof for each month of the year for the 2 years?

Your advise is greatly appreciated.
