March is def. the best month. In addition to the budget, people start moving after getting their bonuses which means more open positions. But if you have to chose between beginning and end Summer, end would be better

Because I didn't send the Rent agreement, my case wroker sent me a letter to ask me for this doc, he included his details in the letter. I guess you can ask for your case worker contact from the hotline

Thanks Deepak,

I just called and my case worker told me my application was approved and my documents are on their way :-D

If you haven't received yours yet, I think you should call them just to make sure nothing is blocking there.

All the best,
Naj

Deepak, I think as long as your saving account is showing regular transfers it shouldn't be a problem. It would be if it's coming in one transfer (they might wonder where the money is coming from) I actually made a mistake and didn't send the rent agreement, so they just sent me a letter asking for ...

Mooty, You already got the HSMP, so the only thing that matters now is the funding you have to survive in UK. and if you received sponsorship from the British Government, any other government, or an international scholarship agency? you need to provide a confirmation from the sponsor giving consent ...

FLR(HSMP) current processing time

Did anybody apply lately for the FLR(HSMP) - the initial application not the extension one.

Would like to know how long it might take. They said 5 to 9 weeks when I called them but I'm hoping it takes less

As per the FLR form, If you're switching to FLR(HSMP) after been on WP, you should provide Two recent passport-sized photographs of yourself with your name written on the back of each photograph. Two recent passport-sized photographs of each dependant applying for an extension of stay in the UK ...

From reading the FLR(HSMP) quidance note, I understand that providing the documents for the purpose of calculating the points is only required from applicants who are extending their leave not for those who just received their HSMP for the first time

the guidance says you can pick up any 12 months within the 15 last months, so you can ignore the month where you don't have a payslip

thanks kck, I just called them, as the payement hasn't cleared yet they don't have an HSMP ref number yet, but only a payement number. They told me I can send the additional documents with this reference. I think I'll do that and once I see the cheque debited from my account I'll keep on calling to ...

as long as you have have your EC or a work permit visa you should be able to book a one way ticket. Sometimes aireline companies are not very well informed and can be a pain. But as long as you have your HSMP you don't need a return ticket. FYI, once you're settled in UK, even your familly members ...

I don't think your HR will complain, it's their job after all... If they're really lazy, what I would do is prepare a certificate with all your salaries details (month by month) and get them to print it with the company's heading and stamp it. But I think it's definitely better to get your payslips ...

also, the amount in P60 which covers only my income from my current employer (less than 12 months) is already in the range I'm claiming. Do you think it's still important to provide additional documents.

Thanks again

Thanks Guys for your advise. the guidance note doesn't say that P45 is not acceptable, only the FAQ mentions this!! kck, do you think I'll be able to get a reference number before my payement is cleared (I made this other mistake to pay by cheque which takes 5 days to clear!) All this is very ...
