Hi,
People who got their 1st letter on or around 10th of May are still waiting for their 2nd letter of interview date, time and location. So its assumed that the 2nd Letter wont be arriving within 3-4 weeks after receiving 1st letter.

I'm also just following the threads of people who are experiencing the same situation. So as far as what is disclosed on this forum, it is understood that no one has received or reported second letter yet. However, in past many people have asked for interview in a single posted letter and they have already told their experiences. You can easily follow those threads.

but those were mainly for initial application, not extension.

did not find any one who got visa after interview..

A Friend of mine received the First letter ( Notice of Interview ) letter on 29/04/2016.

Received the Second Letter on 18/05/2016

Interview Date 30/06/2016

my partner was interviewed by the HO in regards to our extension application but he was only asked about the TOEC he had done in the past and nothing regarding the business, the interview took place over the skype and HO representative was physically not present .

I have been following the thread to find what kind of questions does come in an interview but guys finally my interview is done today and it is nothing to worry about if you are doing business genuinely. All they want to know is you are not any fraud but a genuine Entrepreneur!!

My application was ones rejected and AR was rejected again. So I re-submitted my application that could cover all the points because of which my previous application was rejected.

For interview all the asked me about is
1.) Am I the Sole director in my company? ( if not who is other director/s and relation with them)
2.) What is the contribution of the other directors ( for my case no contribution )
3.) What is the nature of my business ( Lots of questions regarding my business , i.e. what is the turnover, monthly expenses, number of employees, how much I pay them, how many hours they work, how I recruit them, where I find new staff when needed, what competitions I have, how I compete them, how many suppliers, name of the suppliers, weekly orders, premises details, etc... )
4.) VAT, Corporation tax details, how much I pay.
5.) how much I spend on advertising and methods of advertising
6.) who made the funds available
7.) what are the duties of staff , what are my duties
8.) Also asked if I am aware of the reason why my first application was rejected so then I could explain her

At the end of the interview she asked if I have any questions, I didnt have any questions but wanted to submit some new documents so asked her and she said its alright to submit new documents and let them know about any latest developments.

It was a Video call interview and lasted for almost 1 hour where as on letter it was stated that it will be for 40 minutes.

But overall the interview was good and the lady seems satisfied too but you all know how it is, until dont get approval, cant say/predict anything!!

So in short know your business from AtoZ...

Hi Irana,

I re-applied on 6th Martch and received email for Interview on 18th may for interview on 26th June. Still waiting for reply.
Just hoping for positive outcome.

It was an online interview like Skype and took for an hour.

The questions I remember:
- Name and Date of birth
- if I'm employed at the moment?
- Company name and its nature
- Why I registered with company house? Answer: I wanted to create a company and it requires to register your company with company house.
- My previous work experiences
- How much I invested and where exactly (details of investments)? Answer: employees' salary, legal expenses, accountancy expenses, office rent, advertisement, computer equipment, travel costs...the answer was type of investment with figures.
- My employees name with spelling
- the employees' roles in my company
- how did I recruit them?
- how much I've paid as the salary in total
- how much national insurance I paid
- how much tax I paid
- how much corporation tax I paid
- each year's loss or profit details
- my accountant name, his company name and address
- how much I pay for the advertisement?
- How and where do I advertise?
- How many contracts? I explained our work is mixture of contracts and we also charge hourly rate for our consultancy sessions
- Do you train your employees
- if the employees still working for me?
- who are my business competitors?
- what would I do if the business fails

It was a friendly interview, and seems there are set questions, and I could add more to my answers or change them. You need to know your business and the accountancy terms like corporation tax and annual returns. My answers were being typed by the interviewer.
