Hi All,

as one can apply for ILR within the last month the 5yr period(Points Based), what is the earliest one can apply for naturalisation?Can it be as soon as the 1 year of ILR is up?I was on a work visa prior to HSMP that did not contribute towards iLR

There is no 28 days rule for the Naturalisation.you will have to complete 1 year on your ILR.

I understand that.But for the 5years preceding does type of visa matter as applying early for ILR has meant that I am 4 weeks short on the HSMP
