Naturalisation

Hi Can I apply for UK naturalisation if my name is on LOC (look out circular) at all india international airport. As if I travel to indian then my passport will be impounded as my name is on LOC. Does UKBA check with indian ambassy about criminal record.
If so then With whom does UKBA agency check criminal record when you apply for naturalisation.
