We have a traffic offence case as my wife was stopped while driving using a mobile few months ago. She got a £60 fine & 3 points from police, no court case. We also are looking to apply for BC but not sure whether to declare this offence on the application or not? thanks

No need to declare FPN's

Issue is if they ask License/counter part later for some reason, then they will see this offence & might think that we have foul played not declaring this offence though it is a FPN? Wouldn’t that be a good character issue then?

thanks

You can declare for your peace of mind but that won't affect your BC application

Thanks Gagan1986, It comes under Major offences though it was given a FPN treatment. Still thay have a point I guess?

I had the same fine when I applied for ILR last month though it was 3 years ago. But I did not declare it and there was no mention about it

Thanks Gagan,
We will declare it for the safe side & see outcome.
