Hi,

Could somebody confirm that my ESOL Level 2 Certificate will be enough to demonstrate my knowledge of language and life, and as a result I will not have to take Life in the UK test when applying for British citizenship, please.

I'm an EEA national and passed my ESOL Level 2 (not an ESOL Entry Level 2) back in 2009.

The conditions for ESOL qualification are far more strict now. Have a read through the mandatory requirements on this link:

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately I cannot find answer to my question on ukba website.

My college is an accredited college, so that’s not a problem.

Question is, as ESOL Level 2 is higher than ESOL Entry Level 3 and ESOL Level 2 is not mentioned on ukba website anywhere would that be ok for citizenship application?

Is there anyone who can possibly answer my question, please.

Thank you .
