hiya,

I was U turning from a road where U turn was not allowed on 02 of march 2013 and a police officer seen me and came to me that I did an offence. He taken my details and said to me that u'l received a letter. today I received a summon from court about that offence which given me 3 options. 1st I plead gulity by post 2nd gulity in court and last not guilty. My 10 years long residency will due on 22 of January 2014. I just want to ask that if i plead guilty by post will it still be called guilty from court. will it effect on my ILR application or any best option for me? plz reply me ASAP coz I have only few days to take action against this letter. Thaks

You've posted in the wrong forum. However, for ilr, a court issued FPN which is not recorded on your criminal record should not be a general grounds for refusal, assuming its your only one. Though, that's not to say it won't affect any future naturalisation applications.
