I just received my passport today and it came with the place of birth with wrong spell.. it came with 1 extra letter.
I have the copy of my application and I did sent it right to them.
should I contact them or the place of birth with this extra letter doesn't really make much difference ?

But since you have evidence that they have committed a mistake, if you dont have to travel in the interim, get it sorted.
